From a sunrise below Angkor Wat to a sunset atop Everest Base Camp, Out Adventures knows all of Asia’s best angles. And we love to show her off. Below is a comprehensive guide to all the ways you can discover the largest continent on Earth with us.
Visit Old Asia’s Newest Hot Spots
This tour kicks off in lovely Laos, a charming country surrounded by more developed neighbours, where we’ll immerse ourselves in deep traditions like the Buddhist’s daily alms-giving. We’ll then fly off to Cambodia’s Phnom Penh, once the Orient’s most beautiful city, to experience the city’s colonial charm and learn about its turbulent past. Our journey ends in Siem Reap, where we’ll explore spectacular Angkor Archaeological Park over a couple of days.
Experience India’s Colourful Spring Festival
India – and especially the province of Rajasthan – is chaotic, colourful, and laden with lavishness. This OUT Adventure fills a decadent twelve days with a 7th Wonder of the World, the Pink City of Jaipur, Indian cooking class and huge clouds of colour that define the world-famous Holi Festival. Enthralled and exhausted by it all, please stand by for the Royal Maharajah treatment, outstanding meals, memorable accommodations and the ‘eternal tradition’ of Hinduism.
Conquer the Mother of the Universe
Nepal is a hiker’s paradise laden with ancient kingdoms, majestic mountains, and monasteries galore. Our trip begins with two days exploring the busy streets of Kathmandu, before we fly over the haunting Himalayas en route to the Everest region. Over two weeks we’ll grace the same trails where many of the mountain’s epic ascents begin, slumbering in the tea houses of the world’s highest inhabited villages. Our hike reaches its own impressive heights with a visit to Everest Base Camp (5,364m), where we can bask in the majesty of the Mother of the Universe, that epic mountain herself.
Discover ‘The Land of Smiles’
We begin in Bangkok, wandering the Grand Palace and devouring the street food. We’ll then explore the famous temples of Northern Thailand, spend time with Chiang Mai’s Asian elephants, and learn about the once-bustling poppy industry at the Hall of Opium. To wrap up our adventure, we hit the island of Phuket, where restaurants and nightlife compete with the beaches.
Get Soaked During the Thai New Year
Experience The Land of Smiles on a luxurious gay journey during the holiday season. Enjoy two days in Bangkok, a chance to get up close and personal with Asian elephants (on Christmas Day!), then fly to Krabi for a tropical escape. The adventure culminates in Phuket for a New Year’s celebration you won’t soon forget.
Journey Down The Mekong River
Kick off the new year with us in Siem Reap, the perfect basecamp from which we’ll spend a few days exploring the temples of Angkor. Then we’ll board a 7-night gay cruise where we’ll be lavished with Cambodian hospitality and cuisine, and outlandish entertainment with Miss Conception. As we make our way down the Mekong River in an authentic Cambodian riverboat we’ll visit small and remote villages renowned for their crafts, along with the capital city of Phnom Penh. Once we cross into Vietnam the adventure wraps up with two nights in Saigon, which teems with ten million residents and eight million bikes.
