If plush pillows are as important to you as a spicy peri peri. Or exceptional amenities as meaningful as a freshly baked Pastéis de Nata. Our Portugal: Lisbon & Porto Gourmet Foray is the gay tour for you.
We’ll devour our way through three distinct regions of the coastal nation, while slumbering in three extraordinary hotels. Scroll down for a preview of the impressive accommodations we’ll enjoy en route.
Porto
Located right on lively Rua das Flores and in the heart of Porto, our first luxury hotel is as conveniently located as it is beautiful. Architecturally, the hotel is a combination of a refurbished 16-century palace and entirely new wing, built from scratch. The rooms are spacious, the spa is tranquil, and the small indoor pool is perfect for a quick post-tour dip.
Douro Valley
After a long day of wining and dining, you’ll love coming home to this exquisitely decorated and spacious Douro hotel. Neutral tones, wood finishes and unique decorating touches await. We particularly love the tapestries of the Rita Sevilla looming throughout. Best of all? A cute outdoor pool is a refreshing added amenity.
Lisbon
In the country’s buzzing capital, we’ll stay in the heart of the action at a modern hotel. The rooms are designed with comfort in mind and a contemporary sensibility. A small courtyard pool is a nice touch. However, it’s the incredible breakfast spread we love most at this hotel.
