The health and safety of our guests is our top priority and we pride ourselves on making decisions that are pragmatic, and place priority on purpose before profit. In light of the ever-changing COVID-19 (“coronavirus”) situation, we will be updating this page frequently.
Our dedicated team is working around the clock with the best interests of our clients in mind.
At this point, most heads of state have recommended everyone avoid all non-essential travel to help isolate the spread of coronavirus.
Given both our mission to prioritize our customer’s safety and do our part to mitigate the spread of coronavirus, we are cancelling all tours that depart before August 31, 2020. At present, all tours departing AFTER September 1, 2020 are running as planned.
The coronavirus situation continues to change and evolve. As does the response of governments and health officials. At this point, it is impossible to predict which tours will or won’t be affected. Our promise is to stay transparent through this unprecedented situation.
As a result of coronavirus, we are temporarily amending our Booking Conditions to make it easier for our customers to change their plans. These updated booking conditions currently apply from March 13th, 2020 for all tours departing before December 31st, 2021. Please see below for a summary of this policy.
If booking a trip with a departure date before December 31, 2021, we will require a $500 USD deposit, and final payment will be 60 days prior to departure.
*In limited circumstances credits may be less unrecoverable costs that may apply to selected trips.
Read our full temporary Booking Conditions.
Read our legacy Booking Conditions. PLEASE NOTE: These no longer apply and are only available for transparency.
Out Adventures is a licensed member of the Travel Industry Council of Ontario, and all funds paid to us remain in trust until date of departure, minus deposits paid to suppliers.
Out Adventures is strictly following the recommendations of the Centre for Disease Control (CDC). If the CDC issues a Level 3 or higher travel warning and/or a travel ban is put in place for the specific areas you are visiting, we will cancel your departure.
Most countries’ governments provide their own travel advice, see below for links to some of the larger ones.
If you are travelling in the next few days or weeks we strongly recommend you consult your local advisory for advice in the lead up, as entry screening measures and requirements are changing frequently.
To best answer some of the most common questions we’ve been receiving, we put together this Coronavirus FAQ.
As stated, the health and safety of our travellers is our top priority. If you have concerns about how coronavirus may affect your travel plans, email info@outadventures.com. We kindly ask for your patience as we respond in priority sequence. Thank you for your understanding.
