Cutoffs, Sausages, and Water Sports, OH MY! What to expect on our Big Gay Cottage Getaway.

2018 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Out Adventures with gay tours booked on nearly every continent. But the trip we’re most excited about is our Big Gay Canadian Cottage Getaway.

This will be the very first time the Out Adventures family shows off its home and native land! We’ll tour up to 50 gays around Toronto before spending nearly a week at gay-owned Northridge Inn and Resort in Muskoka, Ontario aka The Hamptons of the North.

1. Lumberjack Day!

An entire afternoon will be spent fulfilling your lumberjack fantasy. Don some denim cutoffs and sexy plaid for our archery and axe throwing competitions, a ‘saw-off’ and Slip ‘N Slide relay. Plenty of prizes are up for grabs.

2. Water-sports

Throughout the trip you’re more than welcome to borrow a canoe, kayak or stand-up paddle board. Alternatively, you can make a splash water-skiing or tubing behind the resort motorboat. If none of this catches your fancy, cast a line into Lake Bernard and spend the afternoon trout fishing.

3. Volleyball tournament + fireworks

Weather permitting we’ll light up the beach at dusk on Independence day for a voluntary volleyball tournament. Be sure to stick around after the game to watch a firework display.

4. Daily yoga on the pier

Sink into savasana every morning at yoga on the pier. The daily activity is a great way to ignite your chakras and off-set the previous evening’s debauchery. No experience required.

5. Cabana Party + BBQ

On our final night, we’ll grill-up juicy sausages, sizzling burgers and other select meats before heading to the beach for a Cabana Party blowout. Yes, there will be vegetarian options available, but let’s be honest, tofu just doesn’t sound as sultry as beef…

If you’re not keen on a big party, we’re also hosting a low-key bonfire far from the raucous revelry.
