Since 2008, OUT Adventures has planned luxury escapes for the gay community. From day one, the Co-Founders – Robert Sharp and Steven Larkin – also made it a mandate to enrich the lives and livelihoods of the communities they visit.
Why they came to us
Out Adventures needed a website that better reflected their brand’s image as a luxury travel brand. While their site was successful, it was built with a focus on out-dated SEO tricks and was missing the key design components of an easy-to-navigate, user friendly web experience.
How we work with them
We put the focus on the adventure. We graphically branded (and continue to brand) each trip individually to heighten their luxury appeal. We also created a series of icons to immediately indicate which type of adventures are part of each trip. From there, we created a widget that allows customers to visually search for trips based on what they want to do.
It started with a hook in the mail. No really, a hook in the mail. Since then, Chris and Jessica have helped OUT Adventures fine-tune our hook, specifically the re-design of our website. This wasn’t just any project. Superfish was forced to adapt and work with an outdated database, which ultimately led to an incredibly complex project. The site is a massive improvement, and I’m excited to work with them again on a project without technological limitations.
