evanhealy creates Certified Organic, pure, plant-based skincare products sourced from sustainable raw materials directly from small family growers and women’s co-ops around the world.
Why they came to us
Since their early days, evanhealy has put its energy into growing a retail wholesale business. Starting with co-op grocery stores, they relied on a network of passionate brokers to spread their message and get their products on shelves, mainly across the U.S. Their success lay in their balanced messaging on beauty, aging, and how the skin works; and of course having amazing products. And while it was successful, they wanted to have imagery and perfect alignment of all their marketing materials to reflect their brand in a way that would captivate larger stores like Whole Foods, Pharmaca, Sprouts and Natural Grocers.
In short, evanhealy wanted a brand style applied consistently to all their marketing outreach — chiefly their photography/videography, their information booklets, their in-store marketing sales and promotions, their email marketing efforts, their social media and their e-commerce website.
How we work with them
We started with photography. Like the brand itself, all the imagery we’ve captured for evanhealy has been shot or filmed using only natural light. Almost nothing is staged, and with the exception of a few portraits over the years, we’ve focused mainly on telling their stories, including: American Family Farm Revival, their relationship with French co-op farmers and their ethical projects investing in a village in Ghana, and their work with the Al Amal Women’s Co-op in Morocco.
Working closely with the brand’s namesake, and product developer (Evan Healy) and the company’s CEO, we’ve used their imagery to punctuate their visionary statements and ideals. First in the form of small booklets, and later in the creation of short videos and ultimately designing and managing their e-commerce webstore. The latter is not only a user-friendly shop that lets people shop easily by product, by treatment line or by skin condition, but also acts as the ultimate resource for learning about the people, places and stories behind their products, all the while celebrating their unconventional ideas and ideals on the beauty industry as a whole.
Working with Superfish has really raised the value, recognition and impact of our brand enormously these past few years of collaboration. They work seamlessly alongside our team and always deliver. For us, that’s been a multi-platform campaign of branding, design, web, social media, photography, video, and more. They’re smart, young, talented and affordable and I would highly recommend them.
